About

Cassandra completed her undergraduate and honours degrees at Macquarie University, and a combined Doctor of Clinical Psychology / Master of Science at the University of Sydney. She has completed additional advanced training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Prolonged exposure and EMDR and is currently completing training in Somatic Experiencing.
Cassandra holds national registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and is authorised to provide psychological services under Medicare. She is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychologist Association (ACPA) and EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA) and is a board approved supervisor.
Cassandra received clinical training at Liverpool Hospital outpatient adult mental health service and Mindset community health service in Caringbah, where she provided individual and family therapy, and co-facilitated a group programme for children with anxiety. She spent some time working in the neurodevelopmental team at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, and has worked with early intervention teams in community health, providing psychological assessment and support to young people at risk of homelessness as well as providing clinical support and supervision for case managers.
Cassandra has provided training in DBT to post graduate clinical masters students, as well as school psychologists, social workers and other mental health professionals and has coordinated and co-facilitated DBT skills groups at Sydney Clinical Psychology for the past 7years.

She provides individual supervision for psychologists and clinical psychology registrars, as well as providing clinical supervision support through organisations such as NEAMI.
Cassandra works well with individuals experiencing a wide range of psychological challenges including difficulties with mood and anxiety, emotion dysregulation, adjustment and relational difficulties as well as recovery from trauma. She has a particular interest in women's health and wellbeing, complex trauma, and neuro-affirming practice.
